SmartTrim Cloud is the planned authenticated analysis and reporting environment for SmartTrim Logger and SmartTrim Prop. It is being designed to organize uploaded sessions into dashboards, reports, comments and permissioned collaboration around each vessel.
From boat to cloud
Capture locally. Sync when connected. Analyze from anywhere.
The logging device records the run on the boat. The planned SmartTrim mobile app will bridge the logger and SmartTrim Cloud when a direct internet connection is not available. When the device has suitable onboard or dockside internet access, completed sessions can be uploaded directly without using the phone as the transfer path.

Connectivity model
The water does not always have internet. The workflow should still work.
Offline-first logging: data collection happens locally on the vessel and does not depend on a cloud connection during the run.
App-assisted sync: the planned native SmartTrim app can retrieve completed sessions from the logger and upload them when the phone has internet access.
Direct sync: when the logger has a suitable Wi-Fi connection at the dock or onboard, it can upload completed data without requiring the app as the bridge.

How SmartTrim Cloud is intended to fit into the product family.
Will the logger require internet while underway?
No. The planned workflow is offline-first. Logging occurs locally on the device; synchronization happens afterward when connectivity is available.
Will I be able to download my raw logger data?
That is a planned core capability. SmartTrim Cloud is intended to preserve downloadable customer logger information alongside dashboards and generated reports.
Can a prop shop see my data?
Only through a future permissioned workflow in which the customer grants access. The intended design is customer-controlled sharing rather than automatic access by third parties.
Is SmartTrim Cloud available today?
No. SmartTrim Logger and SmartTrim Prop are in pilot testing; the authenticated cloud portal and native-app synchronization workflow are planned and remain in development.
